This is the third song of the “Confusion Suite”. We hear now back from the non-believer, the realization of where they are and how they start to realize they want out. The problem is that they know what is right, but are continually pulled back. This idea is realized in the analogy of quick sand, the more you struggle the hard it becomes to escape. This person knows the decision at hand and understands that are caught spinning around in circle with the decisions at hand. This song has truth as well to a believer who fall back into old sin.
