There are the types of Christians that make the faith look bad for the rest of us. People who cast judgment, people who condemn, people who are hypocritical and people who are self righteous. The truth is that any of us can act this way at any point, but by the grace of God we are forgiven and changed of our ways. This song is based on a fictional character who realizes that they have become this way and asks God for forgiveness.
